General
If you're a bass player, chances are you're familiar with Ibanez' Soundgear range that is now known simply as SR. The SR basses are extremely popular because they're relatively compact, easy to play, versatile and sound great. The SRH505F-NNF is a slightly different take on other models in the SR series. For starters, it's fretless, it has 5 strings and it's a semi-acoustic model too. It has a mahogany body, a spruce top, a 5-piece jatoba/bubinga neck and a rosewood fretboard.
SRH505F-NNF: horizontal upright
The SRH505F-NNF doesn't have a traditional pickup, but an AeroSilk piezo pickup system instead that's responsible for delivering the full sound to your amplifier. This bass gives you the unique sound of a double bass in a 5-string semi-acoustic model that's suitable for playing music in a wide variety of styles.

La basse est belle, le manche confortable et fin. Les cordes chrome d'Addario toujours aussi sympas. Le son est agréable, le "son frettless" est surtout present dans les aiguës.
finition plutôt correcte sur le bois.
par contre :
- le produit arrive non réglé
# Ca frizz beaucoup sur corde de LA. Difficile à régler, (certe, j'attaque peut être un peu trop...)
# les reglages micros ne sont pas faits. Les potards sont tous à fond et non homogènes
- un des potards micro est arrivé pété... Heureusement, l'électronique est prevue pour 6 cordes. J'ai pu corriger le souci.
Produit globalement correct, j'ai peut être juste manqué de chance.
Le prix permet de relativiser.
